Jonathan Cole, F.N.P.
Jonathan T. Cole, MSN, FNP is a 1996 graduate of Vanderbilt University. He graduated with highest honors and was a member of the university’s honor council. He was a recipient of the coveted Nancy and Hilliard Travis scholarship. He has practiced with the Hypertension Institue for 5 years and serves as its Associate Medical Director. He started his career in his hometown, Jackson, Tennessee, and practiced there for 5 years before moving to Nashville. He started his career as a mid-level family practitioner for the first 9 years before making the switch to adult-centered internal medicine.
Jonathan has a particular interest in managing chronic disease states, such as hypertension, diabetes, and metabolic syndrome. He is married to Nashvillian, Suzanne Connor Cole, FNP, also a mid-level family practitioner and they have 3 children ranging from 5 to 17 years old. He is a Clinical Instructor in the School of Nursing at Vanderbilt University. Jonathan spends his free time as an avid pilot, and musician, singing in 2 choral choirs and performing in local theater.
